Flathead Lemonade Day: June 24, 2023
Lemonade Day returns to the Flathead for an even bigger & better year in 2023! Youth in grades K-8 can sign up for this FREE youth entrepreneurship program which teaches kids how to run their own business—a lemonade stand! This program is open to all youth in grades K-8 throughout ALL of Flathead County! Lemonade Day Flathead – a county-wide FREE youth entrepreneurship program presented by the Kalispell Chamber for the valley community – is going into its 4th year, and it’s grown each and every year, with kids in grades K-8 learning lessons about entrepreneurship while gearing up to operate their very own business on our Flathead Lemonade Day, June 24th. The program originally (due to licensing with the national Lemonade Day organization) operated only in Kalispell, however we’ve been able to expand the program this year, due to the support of generous support of our sponsors, to open up participation to ANY k-8 student in ALL of Flathead County! (www.lemonadeday.org/flathead) Parents/family members can sign up kids online and download the MyLemonadeDay app which walks them through the steps to operating their own lemonade stand. Kids are encouraged through their lessons and operating of their stand to “spend some, save some, and give some” as they learn about how to make their own money.

Last year we had over 100 students participate while operating nearly 30 lemonade stands; the kids love the program and that mentorship by a friend or family member is key to helping the kids to prepare and to have a successful day.
